The resort is located at the foot of the Alps, near the border with Austria and Italy (Sella Nevea \u2013 25 km, Tarvisio \u2013 30 km, Arnoldstein \u2013 45 km). It is the highest ski region in Slovenia, the parts being at an altitude of 1,600-2,289 m. A special feature of the resort is the possibility to ski in three countries (Slovenia, Austria and Italy). Fans of cross-country skiing can enjoy prepared tracks with a length of over 60 km. Romanian travel agencies offer a 5-day stay in Bovec at a price of 189 euros, with accommodation at the resort's best hotel, Kanin, rated at 3 stars.<\/p>\n\n
