The roads are rare and very long, the main objectives are not skyscrapers and high-speed trains, but the natural beauties gathered in six natural parks. For the Japanese, Hokkaido is a kind of Wild West conquered in the 19th century. Hokkaido is connected to the main island of Japan, Honshu, through a tunnel dug 240 meters under the sea, under the Tsugaru Strait, through which the train that comes directly from Tokyo also travels.
