Albena is a Bulgarian summer destination, on the shore of the Black Sea. The popularity increased after 2000, when the resort became a partner with TUI, the most important tour operator in Germany and in Europe.<\/p>\n

Built specifically as a tourist resort, Albena has a unified and unique architectural style. Most of the hotels, located right on the beach, have maximum exposure to the sun and direct access to the beach. Albena is located near other tourist, cultural and commercial centers, while still managing to preserve its natural habitat. Although built on empty land in the 1960s, today it looks like a small city, with a center, streets and squares, and even a public transport network \u2014 dedicated trains that run according to a set schedule on the city streets.<\/p>\n
