Romania has functional commercial airports in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Timișoara, Constanța, Arad, Oradea, Suceava, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu, Satu Mare, Baia Mare and Bacău. In Brașov, the airport is in the process of becoming operational. The only city in Romania with two commercial airports is Bucharest. A third airport is under construction near the Capital (see Alexeni airport project, Ialomița)

The map also indicates the main roads that connect the airports and between them and large cities in the country or in neighboring countries (Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria).
