The resort is located at the foot of the Alps, near the border with Austria and Italy (Sella Nevea – 25 km, Tarvisio – 30 km, Arnoldstein – 45 km). It is the highest ski region in Slovenia, the parts being at an altitude of 1,600-2,289 m. A special feature of the resort is the possibility to ski in three countries (Slovenia, Austria and Italy). Fans of cross-country skiing can enjoy prepared tracks with a length of over 60 km.
