Sinaia is a mountain destination in the Romanian Carpathian Mountains, on the Prahova Valley. It is an ideal place for practicing skiing, winter sports, but also active travel in summer time. It is an ancient summer residence for the Romanian Royal Court and has three major palaces: Peles Castle, Pelisor Castle and Foisor Castle, and also a number of ancient buildings. Now, it is a large number of hotels and hostels with more than three standard stars.
