Salaries in Romania have increased significantly in the last 10 years. Currently, after the minimum salary has increased in Romania almost year after year, and those in education have also increased through special laws, salaries in education in Romania exceed all surrounding countries, both in terms of gross value and - especially - as purchasing power.

Compared to these countries, not in all cases the value in Euro is higher in Romania.

The first observation is that Romanians are advantaged in the ratio of PPS value - purchasing power. Without discussing the quality of the products, in Romania almost all product categories have lower prices than in neighboring countries. This means that, with relatively similar incomes compared to the European currency, the real salary is significantly higher because he can buy more products.
Secondly, the fact that Romania offers higher salaries than the countries in the region does not mean that Education is sufficiently financed.
